Mike and Brenda Denton

Help Now

LOM Supporters and Prayer Partners,

It was an incredible summer for Little Ones! Our teams in Nicaragua and Mexico continued to

see advancement in supporting local ministries bridge the community to the church. At the

same time, the work in Uganda continued to advance the Gospel! We greatly look forward to

each newsletter to tell you stories from the field.

Little Ones Ministries would not be what we all love if it were not for the work of our CEO Mike

Denton. Many of you know Mike well and have served alongside him with LOM. Mike has

been our chief missionary and visionary leader. We have all been changed by Mike’s faithful

service to the Lord.

On April 19th of this year, Mike and his wife Brenda were struck by a natural disaster. On that

evening, Oklahoma was struck by 18 tornadoes. One of those struck the property of Mike and

Brenda causing significant damage to their home. In the months since they have worked to

clean and restore their home as they negotiated with their insurance company for damages.

Through an extensive process, the final settlement with insurance will be significantly less than

the cost to rebuild. Mike and Brenda continue to be positive and thankful for the Lord’s

protection and provision.

As a board of directors for Little Ones Ministries, we want to provide an opportunity for you as

supporters to help our CEO. We are asking supporters and prayer partners to consider making

a donation to help reduce the financial impact on the Denton family. At the same time, we ask

that it be above and beyond your regular support. Neither the Board nor Mike would want

anyone to reduce or redirect their support of the ongoing ministries. We ask that you

prayerfully consider an “above and beyond” tax-deductible contribution. You can make that

contribution by going to lomkids.org/donate and mark the contribution as “staff disaster relief”.

Any funds received that exceed the difference between the insurance settlement and the cost

to rebuild will be moved to the ministry’s general operating account to continue the strong

financial support of the ministry.

Again, we want to thank you for your support and partnership with LOM! Your generosity and

your prayers are making an incredible impact around the world!

Brandon Adams, President of the Board
